Who We Are:

Heather Parker:  Heather began her career at the main corporate Studio in London, Ontario. With an abundance of dance knowledge, managerial experience, accompanied with great determination Heather became the manager of the London Studio in October 2007 and now has risen to the occasion to become the co-manager of the Hamilton Fred Astaire Dance Studio.  Heather’s dancing career has resulted into many accomplishments including First Place in her very first competition and has continued to place first in her Pre-Championship divisions and has continued to place in the top three placements in her Open Professional divisions with her partner.

Heather has earned many merits for her outstanding performance as Canadian Top Specialist Instructor, where she defines herself with getting the newer students on their dancing journeys, which has earned her the highest award given to an instructor, the Top Freddy Award.

Joe Dukes:  Joe became Manager of the Hamilton Fred Astaire Dance Studio in 2007 and has been instrumental in elevating the studio to become one of the premier dance studios in all of Canada.  Joe takes great pride in his instruction and it shows by how his work ethic and tenacity reflect on his staff and students.  Some of his dance accomplishments include being undefeated Fred Astaire Canadian Latin Champion with his partner and Joe has earned many accolades for his outstanding performance with his students.  Joe has repeatedly been Canadian Top Specialist and has received the Top Teacher Award at various competitions more than three times and well as receiving the highest award given to an individual, the Top Freddy Award.

With Joe and Heather directing the Hamilton Studio there is no doubt that their students and staff are in great hands and will flourish in their dance endeavors. They both believe in the importance of ensuring that all students receive the very best instruction possible and those they are treated with the utmost respect and dedication and where you have confidence in our reputation.
